EBC Youth (Sundays)
The Aim: EBC Youth exists to help young people encounter Jesus and grow in Christlikeness. Through age-appropriate teaching, discussion, and connection, we aim to create a space where young people can explore faith, ask questions, and build friendships that support them in their walk with God. Our heart is to see them develop a personal, growing relationship with Jesus that shapes how they live.
More Information

EBC Youth meets during the Sunday morning service in the Bethel cabin. Young people start in the auditorium with the wider church for the first 10–15 minutes before heading out to their session. Volunteers usually arrive from 9.30am to help set up and settle the space before the service starts at 10am. Most team members serve once a month, with flexibility depending on availability.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about investing in the next generation — those who love walking alongside young people as they discover what it means to follow Jesus. You don’t need to have all the answers, just a heart to disciple, encourage, and point them towards Christ. If you can listen well, communicate clearly, and bring energy and empathy to a group setting, you’ll be a great fit. Whether you're good at leading discussions or just being a supportive presence, we’d love to work with you. A DBS check is required for this role — we’ll guide you through the process.

Using the Orange curriculum prepared for you by our Youth Leader, you’ll either lead or help facilitate Sunday sessions. These include a Bible-based message that’s engaging, easy to understand, and directly relevant to the lives of young people — often brought to life through games, creative activities, and open discussion. And yes — there are snacks too! Your role is to help create a space that’s safe, fun, and faith-building, where every young person feels seen, supported, and encouraged in their journey with God.
