Prayer Outreach
The Aim: Prayer Outreach exists to take the love and presence of Jesus beyond the walls of the church, offering prayer to people in our community. Through conversation, kindness, and prayer, we seek to support those we meet, help them encounter God, and remind them they are seen and loved.
More Information
-
We head out on the third Saturday morning of each month, meeting at the church for 9.30am. From there, we spread out in pairs or small groups — sometimes just outside the church, other times into town or wherever we feel led to be.
-
You don’t need to have all the right words or be a confident evangelist — just a heart for people and a willingness to show up and be available. If you love connecting with others and want to gently share the hope and kindness of Jesus, you’ll be a great fit. We go together, we support one another, and we trust God to lead each interaction.
-
In simple ways, you’ll help carry the love of Jesus into the everyday spaces of our town. You might offer prayer to someone walking past, have a longer conversation with someone going through a tough time, or invite someone into church for a hot drink.
It’s not about pressure or performance — just being present, listening well, and following the Holy Spirit’s lead. Every conversation matters, and you’ll be part of sowing seeds of faith, hope, and love in people’s lives.
