Hosting

The Aim: Hosts help guide our Sunday gatherings by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere from the front. They set the tone for worship, provide clarity and connection, and help prepare people’s hearts to encounter God through worship and the Word.

More Information

  • You’ll join us in the auditorium on Sunday mornings from 9.30am for a microphone check, followed by team prayer at 9.45am before the 10am service.

Hosting is flexible around your availability — we’ll work with you to find a rhythm that fits.

  • If you’re someone who feels comfortable speaking in front of others, we’d love to hear from you. Experience with public speaking is helpful, but we’ll make sure you are supported and trained. What matters most is a warm, clear, and encouraging presence.

If you enjoy connecting with people and want to help others feel welcomed and ready to meet with God, this will be a great place to serve.

  • As a host, you’ll lead parts of the service — welcoming everyone, sharing Family News and announcements, praying for our children and youth as they head to their groups, guiding the offering, and helping the room feel connected throughout. You’ll work alongside our pastors as you prepare, and play a key role in shaping an environment where people can worship freely and encounter God during the service.
